Powerpoint Presentations

PowerPoint presentations are extensively used by our Sales teams. After we did the major re-design of all our printed sales materials, we also upgraded our presentations.

There were a few things we needed to accomplish when designing the Powerpoints.

  • Tasked with establishing a base design for the years presentations, we then would add specifics that would pertain to each Industry type presentation for the ach different Sales presentation.
  • Moved from a long-format Powerpoint to quick points and easy to understand visuals.
  • Animations were used to establish some of these visuals.
  • Visuals for how the product operates and the benefits
  • Showing our vast customer base, without naming all the names.
  • Establish slides that could have elements changed depending on the type of show or customer that Sales was presenting to.

Please view video below to watch the Restaurant Powerpoint as it is presented to potential customers.

Trade Shows

Roll-A-Shade®

Trade show booths are another integral part of our sales structure. Here are some examples of booth designs. I lead the Graphics team to create the designs set by the Marketing team. We currently handle all aspects in-house.

  • Marketing asked for designs that could be printed onto the shades in the booth as the shades would be there to show the physical product but the design could then show different aspects of the company.
  • Once the design was finalized and approved by the executives, graphics needed to execute the designs.
  • The shades were printed by using the HP LX850 printer and the goal was to have the design make sense if they were completely down or stair-stepped, as show above
  • Then for the rest of the booth we printed and applied stickers to the sides and tops of the counters, to bring together the booth and the printed shades.

Automated Motorized Shades®

Our sales team for our sister company Automated Motorized Shades also requires graphics for trade show booths. While Roll-A-Shade primarily focuses on commercial, Automated Motorized Shades focuses on the residential or dealer aspects of the shade business.

  • Graphics was tasked with creating a flowchart design that was simple to read and meant to explain integration to dealers.
  • We ultimately decided on a simple design that utilized the designs from the company's sales materials as base. Then the designs were printed on adhesive material and painstakingly applied to the melamine to achieve the look that the design was printed directly onto the design.

Email Campaigns & Social Media

One of the many things required of myself as the manager of the Graphics department at Roll-A-Shade was the creation of web banners for email campaigns and or social media. Due to the nature of our company there are many different campaigns that may be needed. Some campaigns were for attracting new customers while others were to inform current customers of new product and the like.

Some of the campaigns that were created at Roll-A-Shade were seasonal, but also with a focus on new products or some products that we have been noticing a trend in more interest. Email campaigns would also be sent out to announce Roll-A-Shade attendance to upcoming trade shows, so current or potential customers can come visit.

Though Roll-A-Shade did not focus on social media for sales, mostly due to the success in other avenues of marketing campaigns. It was instead used show large or successful jobs that we have done. As well as announcing Trade Shows and booth locations.

As a way to promote what focus a dealership had, whether it was a broad scope of powersports equipment or a more specific brand of motorcycle, we would create an email banner for the client. This banner was then available for use when for emails for potential or current customers and create both an interesting and informative visual.

Targeted Multi-Platform Ads

Web Banner Ads

Another type of ad or promotion that was often created at PSM Marketing was web banners. This was specifically for existing customers and I worked with the web development team for this as they would receive requests from the clients. These were often seasonal promotions but sometimes these ads were more focused on a specific goal or promotion.
